Plan of Action: 

Provide information, materials and instruction to Kauai's children.

Provide meaningful outdoor learning experiences in the riverine, estuarine, and marine environments.

Accomplishments : 

1998 to present - Over 530 students have participated in HWH WQ education programs

2000 to present - HWH participates in Waipa's summer and afterschool programs

2003  HWH distributed 20 copies of Surfrider's "Sea to Summit" video to Kauai teachers

2012 - Waipa Kalo Festival

Hanalei Watershed Hui is a 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental organization that strives to care for the Ahupua’a of Hanalei, Waioli, Waipa, and Waikoko guided by Hawaiian and other principles of sustainability and stewardship, integrity and balance, cooperation and aloha, cultural equity and mutual respect.
